DON'T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT. TAKE THEIRS....

Top ten reasons to attend RRFC in London by E.F.
    (past camper)

    1) Atmosphere of the rehearsal studios; Abbey Road sessions. I never in my life thought I would have had the chance to meet Sir George Martin and his son Giles in person. It was as though I was in heaven and the spirituality of it made me humble. For a full week, I never doubted I could be a rock and roller.

2). Playing live at the Cavern Club; being in awe of Pete Best (a terrific guy) and hearing all of the bands at their best. I felt taken back to the 60's when music was truly music.

    3) Being guided by one of the most sincere and loving musicians I've ever met, Mr. Mick Ralphs. His laid back enthusiasm and counseling were far more than I've ever experienced at the prior 2 camps in L.A. A beautiful human being who's friendship is unmatched. And, Jerry Shirley's support and guidance were unfettered. He's a tremendous human being.

    4) Bus ride to Liverpool. It was like being in "OZ". So much love, music and the greatest stories ever told within a 3 hour period.

    5) Becoming blood brothers with Glenn whom I adore. If we weren't at the camp, I'm certain we could have torn up London together and made the headlines. He will forever be in my heart and mind.

    6) The support and conviction of all of my band mates.....Vito, one of the most incredible guitar players I've ever played with....Chris a trooper who practiced and smiled throughout the days.....Chris O, a very talented keyboarder and transcendental computerologist, Dave, the whacker drummer who never missed a beat. Finally, Ian, the jokester and funniest Englishman I've ever met who can sing. These fellows put their heart and souls into each and every second of our time together.

    7) The "Bar" at the Marriott, which was our own personal club for Rest and Relaxation where we gathered our thoughts from the day and traded treasured stories amongst all of us.

    8) John Henry Studios.......what a class act. All of the tech's; equipment; ambiance and know how was too much to ask for (in a phenomenal way). The shop on the 3rd floor had me in awe.

    9) As we get towards the bottom of the list, I did want to comment on the breakfast buffet's which were probably as good as it got for the food in London.

    10) The possibility that someday I will have published and been recognized by my peers.

The moment you book your flight, your Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy is coming to life. After an incredible English breakfast on day one, it's off to the rehearsal studio with your new band and celebrity Rockstar counselor to start writing an original song and jamming on your favorite rock tunes. We apologize for interrupting rehearsal, but that guitar player that you've been idolizing since you were in your teens - you remember, the one you waited 22 hours in line to grab the new album and was just inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame, yes that one- is about to drop in to hear your progress, take some photos, sign autographs and jam with your band for a bit.

The instant you step foot into Abbey Road you can tell that this will be an experience unlike any other. After all, YOU are in Abbey Road Studios and YOU are recording in the very studio where Fred Astaire recorded in the 1930s and the Beatles laid down their very first single Love Me Do in 1962. The incredible stories you hear from your sound engineer who has worked with everybody from Jeff Beck to Radiohead are mind blowing - and now he is engineering YOUR song. Time to break for lunch...is that Sir George Martin ahead of you in line at the cafeteria? Crikey! Why yes, yes it is.

Your time at camp is a mixture of jamming (10+ hours per day), Rock legends stopping by Abbey Road to jam, master classes taught by some of the world's most well respected musicians in rock 'n' roll, Q&A sessions with artists from bands like Queen, The Rolling Stones, and Pink Floyd, meals with celebrity musicians, and much much more! Cheers!

    • Attend master classes with world renowned musicians
    • Daily meals with celebrity musicians and campers
