Campers under the age of 18 must be chaperoned by an adult and purchase a spouse/family package. Q: Do you have to have previous musical experience to attend camp? A: No previous experience is necessary.

more top brands. Like all rock stars,
you’ll have at your disposal staff to
make sure your gear is tuned and ready
to rock and roll! A: Absolutely. Many campers enjoy the
‘show and tell’ factor by bringing their
guitars and equipment. We only ask that
you label your gear with your contact
information. Q: Where does the camp take place? A: Depends on the camp. Past camps
have taken place at SIR Studios in Los
Angeles, the Hit Factory in New York
City, Abbey Road Studios in London,
B.B. Kings in New York City, House of
Blues in Los Angeles and Las Vegas and
various other famed recording studios
and venues. Q: Will I be able to get autographs and photographs? A: Absolutely! Be sure to bring your
cameras, sharpies and any memorabilia
for the rock stars to sign. One camper
told us his home looks like the Hard
Rock Café from all the autographs he
obtained from attending past camps!
A: After you complete the registration
form, you will receive a camper questionnaire
which will contain questions regarding
your musical interests, camp goals and
other information regarding your music
likes. After the form is completed and
sent back, our team will put you in
a band with other campers that have
similar musical talent, interests, etc.

questions. Q: How much does the camp cost? A: Cost of camp varies from city to city. More information can be found here Q: What does the camp fee include? A: The camp fee includes all meals throughout the camp, studio time, equipment, evening activities, a DVD of the final night’s “Campalooza” performance, transportation to and from all camp events, camp credentials, and a gift bag. Hotel and airfare is not included. A: We offer discounted rates for our campers at local four-star hotels. All of our campers, rock counselors, and guest stars stay at the same hotel. Shuttles are provided from the hotel to all camp locations. Q: Do I have to stay at the preferred hotel? A: No, you do not have to stay at the preferred hotel; however, we only offer transportation to from this hotel. Keep in mind our rock stars stay at the preferred hotel too, so you might run into them at the bar or in the lobby. A: The length of the camp varies based on the destination. Q: How much time do you actually spend jamming? A: You will spend 10-12 hours a day
jamming during the camp. We also hold
master classes and jam sessions at night
so you will have the chance to play
with other counselors and campers who
are not in your band. A: Yes! Each camper band will have the opportunity to record their original song and we will put it on iTunes for friends and family to download. ** Please note that this option is not available for One-Day Camps. Q: Where does “Campalooza” take place? A: The Campalooza venue varies from city to city but usually takes place in a legendary concert venue in the city that the camp takes place in. Past Campalooza’s have rocked the House of Blues (Los Angeles & Las Vegas), BB Kings (NYC) and the Cavern Club (Liverpool, UK). Q: How do I get tickets to the “Campalooza” final show? A: Tickets are available on our website, at the venue box office and by calling 1.888.762.BAND. Tickets also go onsale through the Campalooza venue’s ticketing company. Q: What "Rock Stars" have attended and who will be attending future camps? A: Please click here for our entire past and current talent lineup. We are constantly adding guest stars and counselors to our hall of fame, so be sure to check the site often! You never know who’ll show up! A: We provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a variety of foods available We also provide refreshments in your studio throughout the day. If you have any specific dietary needs, please let us know in advance so that we can accommodate you accordingly. Q: How do the campers get around from the studios to the hotel? A: Shuttle service is provided to and from the hotel to the studios and all camp events. This transportation is included in the camp fee. Q: What kind of clothes do I need? A: We suggest bringing comfortable clothing as you will be spending long days in the rehearsal studios. However, many campers prefer to dress up for the final night “Campalooza” performance since you will be recorded. You want to not only act like a rock star, but look like one too! |
